Empty your cabinets.

Are you having a hard time looking for certain kitchenware? It must be time to reorganize your kitchen cabinets. The best way to do this is by starting clean. All you have to do is pull out everything from your cabinets, clean the insides with a washcloth and start doing an inventory of your kitchen tools. Dispose of everything you have not used for more than 6 months and only keep the essentials and those that you use on a regular basis.

Make your drain and sink spotless.

With every kind of oils, sauces and food particles that go through your sink, it can pretty much collect grime over time. So you have to clean your sink regularly by pouring white vinegar down the drain and rinsing it with boiling water. Scrub your sink especially on its crevices and joints where stubborn grime can build up.

Clean your refrigerator.

Here’s one thing to remember: your refrigerator is not a garbage bin. You may not notice it but there might be lots of expired food items in your refrigerator that you already forgot about. Make sure to always check everything inside your refrigerator unless you want it to smell rotten.

Use plastic bins to store items.

If your cabinets do not have previously installed sliding drawers, use plastic bins instead. This will help you find anything you’re looking for a lot quicker. Remember to group similar food items together for better organization. Categorizing will save you more time when you’re looking for a specific item.
